Practice essential math skills. Learn to use them to solve problems. Build confidence.
Critical Skills Math is ongoing supplemental math support for students who need to strengthen important skills while continuing their regular school or homeschool math course. Students practice essential skills such as fractions, decimals, percents, integers, ratios, equations, and other foundational concepts—but the goal goes beyond practicing isolated skills.
Through live instruction, guided practice, and real-world problems, students learn how to understand a problem, determine what mathematics they need, choose an appropriate strategy, solve it, check their work, and explain their thinking. Skills are deliberately interwoven and revisited throughout the semester so students can build stronger connections and become more confident, capable, and independent math problem solvers.

Why families choose Good Path Academy
Math help should feel clear, calm, and doable.
Critical Skills Math is built for students who need extra support but are still continuing their regular school or homeschool math. The goal is not to add pressure. The goal is to make the most important skills easier to understand and easier to practice.
Your student will get live instruction, short practice assignments, quizzes, feedback, and steady progress checks.
Clear steps.
Manageable practice.
Supportive feedback.
Steady progress.
The bigger vision
Critical Skills Math is about more than getting through a worksheet.
Many students who struggle in math are not lazy. They are missing key skills, rushing through steps, or carrying frustration from past lessons that never fully made sense.
This course gives students a steady place to review, practice, ask questions, and rebuild confidence.
As critical skills get stronger, math can become less overwhelming.
Students begin to see patterns.
They learn how to check their work.
They become more willing to try.
They gain the confidence to keep going when a problem takes effort.
That is the long-term goal: a student who is not just surviving math, but learning how to approach it with patience, skill, and confidence.
